Twitter Tools – Friend or Follow
Have you discovered yet that Twitter is a good way to get people back to your website on a regular basis? I have! So I am always looking for tools that will help me become more efficient in handling Twitter.
As a general rule, Twitter is very simplistic and easy to use. But it doesn’t have any extras that help manage your tweets, friends, and followers. This is where other developed tools come in.
I’ve just found another tool that helps manage Twitter friends and followers. It’s called “Friend or Follow“. Simple name, huh?
Friend or Follow is a tool to help you figure out who your friends, follows, and fans are on Twitter. All you do is visit the site, put in your Twitter name, and it will generate a visual list of who your friends, fans, and followers are. What I like about it the most is that you can download that information as a CSV file, and then use it to edit your followers list.
Try it and see what you think. You don’t even have to register to use it. Post back here and give me your impression.

The Awesome Highlighter
How is this for a cool Web 2.0 tool?
The Awesome Highlighter is a neat tool that I think everyone can use. Have you ever sent someone a web page to view, but wanted them to focus on something in particular? This particular tool can help!
Awesome Highlighter lets you highlight text on web pages and then gives you a small link to the highlighted page. What purpose does this serve?
- It allows you to show others the important part of an article.
- It reduces confusion about a sent link.
- It saves time for the reader.
- It allows you to save the parts of the pages you find interesting.
Here is a sample page where I highlighted some information in the center. The tool also allowed me to put a sticky note on the page.

Honestly, can this tool help you?

Twitter Tools – Tweepler.com
Those of you that use Twitter know that the interface for doing anything in Twitter is pretty poor. So I am always on the look out for good tools that maximize my time when using Twitter.
Tweepler is a follower management tool that allows you to make quick, one click decisions about whether to follow people back or drop them into an ignore pile (out of sight, out of mind). Not only does this tool allow you to view their recent tweets, Tweepler also gives helpful stats about new followers, such as average tweets per day.
If you try it out, post back and let me know how you like it!
